Thief God's Comb

Circular basalt grotto. Smells uncommonly clean. Water plinks melodically on the floor.

Orange lamps illuminate a 7ft statue from below, so well rendered that one feels it may come to life at any moment. A bejewelled comb is snagged in its stony hair. 

• comb: Studded with microscopic gems. On the handle, in gold inlay: "FOR A TRUE THIEF". 
  • comb hair: turn invisible. 1sp disappears from your pocket. Comb again to become visible, lose another 1sp.
• statue: Holds a palm out flat towards the ceiling. Inscription at the base: "GOD OF ALL THIEVES".
  • reach for comb: comes to life and flinches away at impossible speed.
  • palm: if a stolen object is placed on the palm, the other hand reaches up gracefully to the comb, teases it from the stone, and offers it up.
